Antiques, garage sales, and serving the Lord were a must. Her dedication to the Lord and family
was a beacon that guided her through life always regarding her children, grandchildren, and
great grandchildren as God’s great blessing to her.
Values of honesty, hard work, and integrity were always the core issues of her life and
assurance that her family was saved by Jesus Christ. She affirmed that “what was impossible
with man is possible with God.” Wanting to deepen her love and faith with Jesus Christ in
prayer and fasting believing “to be absent from the body is to be at home with the Lord.”
Jack and Lanita were so precious and loving in her heart. Preparing for happy holidays,
special occasions, and family get togethers brought such joy.
Joann wanted to leave a legacy of kindness and love of Jesus Christ and to one another,
especially her children.
