Nancy Cornelia (Nichols) Showen 70, of Cameron MO passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, October 25, 2020, after several weeks of battling Covid 19.

Nancy was born in Washington DC on January 14, 1950 the daughter of Chester and Edith (Johnson) Nichols.

Nancy was married to Paul Showen on June 29, 1985 who preceded her in death on October 12, 2018.

Nancy is survived by one daughter, Tina (Phillip) Murray, Jacksonville, AL, one brother, Bruce (Pat) Nichols, California, MO, one sister Patty (Scott) Weber, Forney TX. brothers-in-law  Dean (Norma) Showen, Stanberry MO, Gordon Showen, Bend, OR; and sisters-in-law, Myrlene Brown, Albany MO; Audra (Gregg) Craven, Liberty, MO; Leeta (John) Ickes, Wellington, MO; and many nephews and nieces.

Along with her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Rex Brown.

Nancy was a 1968 graduate of LD Bell High School in Hurst Texas.  She held a BS in Education and a Master’s in industrial safety from the University of Central Missouri.  She served in the United States Army as a medical specialist. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling.
