Cameron, MO- Phyllis May Taylor, 88, of Cameron, passed away April 9, 2023. Phyllis was born January 28, 1935, to Clyde C. and Leta M. (Smith) Lebow in King City, MO.

Phyllis was a graduate of Maysville High School. She married Isaac Gerald Taylor February 27, 1954 in Maysville, MO.  Phyllis worked as a lab tech at the Cameron Regional Medical Center and the Western Missouri Correctional Center. She was a member of Cameron United Methodist Church and Beta Sigma Phi sorority.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Leta; husband, Isaac Gerald Taylor; brother, George Lebow; sister, Nadine Sims; grandson, Jeff Taylor; great granddaughter Trinity Faith Roberts.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Steven G. Taylor (Rose), Blue Springs, MO; daughter Susan (Don) Wiedmaier, Cameron; granddaughters, Taylor Ann Harcourt, St. Joseph, MO, Staci (Nick) Brakhage, Merriam, KS; 7 great grandchildren, Caden and Cameron Taylor, Deserea (Dakota Mason), Coleman and Alexis Roberts, Michael and Klaus Brakhage; one great great granddaughter, Grace Roberts.

Memorial fund is to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday April 13, 2023 at Poland-Thompson Chapel. Visitation, 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial, Graceland Memorial Cemetery, Cameron, MO
