Sharon Kay Richardson

Sharon Kay Richardson, 80, Bethany, MO passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023, at a Bethany, MO hospital.

She was born on February 6, 1943, in Gallatin, MO the daughter of Fred and Violet Marie (Jones) Tucker.

She married Bill Matson and together they had a daughter, Mildred.

On November 22, 1967, she married Robert C. Richardson in Bethany, MO. To this union they had two daughters, Jeana and Kristina. He preceded her in death on November 4, 2011.

Sharon Kay was a member of the 10 th Street Mission and volunteered at the Lord’s Warehouse.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mildred Kinder and Nora Updegraff; brothers, Gordon Tucker and Vernon Tucker and her daughter, Mildred Overstreet.

Sharon Kay is survived by her daughters, Jeana (Bryan) Holloway, Bethany, MO, Kristina Richardson (Kristopher Kreps), Olathe, KS; brothers, Charles Tucker, New Hampton, MO, Albert Tucker, Bethany, MO, and Donald Tucker, Savannah, MO; grandchildren, Clifford McCrary, Nevaeh Mattson, Donna (James) Myers, Andrew (Paige) Holloway, Emily Holloway, Zachary Trentadue (Emma Doane), Xander Trentadue, and Ozzylyn Kreps; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and 3 on the way, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 27 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery, Eagleville, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
