Pet Of The Week – Spot
We’d like to introduce you to Spot! Spot is a Heeler/Border Collie Mix who is absolutely full of love and looking for a special family to share it with.
Before coming to Green Hills Animal Shelter, Spot had a home of his own where he was very loved. But, as we so often say, life sometimes throws curves and when Spot’s owner could no longer care for him, they brought him to the shelter so that he could find a new home where he would be loved and cared for.
Spot, who is only about 3 years old, is a sweet and well-mannered boy who, like his breeds would suggest, is very smart and loyal. He is sometimes a little nervous when he first meets a stranger, but with treats and kind words he warms up quickly, and in no time, he’ll be in his favorite spot cuddling on the couch with you!
If Spot could describe his perfect Forever Home he would ask for a calm home with a family who will give him lots of love and treats and watch his personality blossom. He would like to be an inside dog (this handsome boy loves couch time!), and of course, he would also enjoy having a securely fenced yard where he could run and play between couch times. Spot can be a little nervous around other dogs, so he would prefer to be an only dog so that he can give his new family all his undivided attention and his unconditional love.
Spot will go to his Forever Home neutered, dewormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. He is filled with love and longing for a Forever Home of his own; could that home be yours?
