Pet Of The Week – Bandit
If you are looking for an extremely intelligent and amazingly gentle friend to be a part of your family, then you need to meet Bandit! Bandit is a Border Collie who, at only about 2-3 years old, is absolutely full of charm and love.
Bandit came to Green Hills Animal Shelter after being left behind on a farm after his family moved. But, even though Bandit was abandoned, he didn’t let it diminish his happy spirit or his love and trust for people!
Bandit is a sweet boy who is very affectionate and gentle. He is extremely friendly and loves attention, and he is always asking shelter staff and volunteers for pets and belly rubs. As his breed would suggest, Bandit is also very smart. He learns quickly and is a dog who would very much enjoy learning new commands and tricks; perhaps even Frisbee or agility training. Bandit loves everyone he meets, and his gentle, loving nature would make him a great fit in a home with children, and he also gets along great with other dogs.
If Bandit could describe his perfect Forever Home he would ask for an active home where he could spend time both indoors and outdoors with his family. He would love to live on a farm or in a home with a large fenced yard where he could run and play. Bandit would be pretty happy in a home with children, but he would be equally happy in an adult home where he could be someone’s special buddy. Bandit would also be happy to share his home with a canine companion, especially one that would enjoy romping and playing with him.
Bandit will go to his Forever Home neutered, dewormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. He is a sweet boy who just wants to be loved forever; could you make his dream come true?
