Pet Of The Week – Cosmo
We’d like to introduce you to Cosmo! Cosmo is a gorgeous black, white and tan American Bulldog who arrived at Green Hills Animal Shelter at the beginning of June. Before coming to the shelter Cosmo had a home of his own where he was much loved. Sadly, Cosmo’s owner lived in a city that places restrictions on some breeds of dogs, and Cosmo fell victim to a breed ban. Cosmo, however, has taken his change in circumstances in stride – nothing can get this happy boy down!
Cosmo is only about 1 ½ years old and one of the sweetest pups you could ever imagine. He loves everyone he meets, and Cosmo will instantly steal your heart with his excited-to-meet-you wiggles and his happy Bulldog snorts that are guaranteed to make you smile. Cosmo enjoys car rides and will happily jump right in the car to ride along with you; and he’ll be especially happy on that ride if he happens to score a drive through cheeseburger or ice cream cone!
Since Cosmo is still a young dog, he is still full of puppy energy and loves to play. He is quite strong, and we expect that since he is young, he probably still has a bit of growing to do. Cosmo is good with children and he also gets along well with other dogs.
If Cosmo could describe his perfect Forever Home, we believe he would ask for an active home where he could spend as much time as possible with his family. He would love to tag along on car rides and to go long, leashed walks (hang on tight – this boy is strong!). He would enjoy a home with children, and he wouldn’t mind sharing his home with another canine companion, although he would respectfully request that he get to meet any other dogs in the home prior to adoption to make sure they’ll be a good fit and become best buds.
Cosmo will go to his home neutered, de-wormed, heartworm tested and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. He has stolen the hearts of everyone who has met him at the shelter; could he steal yours, too?
