Pet Of The Week – Miley
We’d like to introduce you to Miley! Miley is a young Mastiff/Labrador mix who is only about 1 year old. Miley came to Green Hills Animal Shelter as a rescue, and even though she has only been at the shelter since November 14th, she has already stolen the hearts of the staff, volunteers and everyone who has met her.
Miley, who sports a beautiful black and cream brindled coat, came to the shelter as a rescue. Sadly, she came from a situation where she was not treated very kindly, and it appears that at some point she may have even been shot with a pellet gun. Despite her tough past, however, Miley is the sweetest girl you could ever hope to meet, and is full of love, joy and lots of happiness to share.
Miley is a very energetic dog who loves to play and who keeps us laughing with her silliness and goof-ball antics. If you were to ask her what her favorite 3 things in the world are, we have no doubt that Miley would answer, “attention, kids and cats!”
If Miley could describe her perfect forever home, she would ask for an active home where she could receive lots of attention and be a loved and treasured member of her family. She would love to be able to romp and play in a securely fenced yard and to go on long, leashed walks. She would enjoy a home with children and perhaps a kitty friend or two, but she would prefer to be the only dog in the household.
Miley will go to her Forever Home spayed, de-wormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all her vaccinations, including rabies. This sweet girl had a rough start, but she is more than ready to put it all behind her and share her joy for life with a family of her very own; could that family be yours?
For more information on Miley or any of the other pets waiting for their Forever Homes at Green Hills Animal Shelter, please phone the shelter at 660-359-2700 or stop by during our normal business hours. We’ll be honored to introduce you and perhaps help you find a new four-legged friend.
