Pet Of The Week – Mittens
We’d like to introduce you to Mittens! Mittens is only 10 weeks old, and with her sweet face and beautiful chocolate and brown tabby markings, this little kitten is sure to steal your heart!
Mittens was found and brought to Green Hills Animal Shelter when she was only about 5 weeks old, and for the last 5 weeks she has been delighting our staff and volunteers with her happy personality. Mittens is very playful and very, very loveable. She loves everyone she meets and is always happy to follow a play session with sweet snuggles.
Mittens enjoys being with other cats, and her sweet, happy personality also makes her a great fit for families with children. Because she is still very small, she is sometimes a little nervous around dogs, but no doubt this little bundle of fluff could learn to love a doggie sibling, too.
As we said earlier, Mittens loves everyone she meets, and if she could describe her purr-fect home, she would ask for an indoor-only home where she could spend lots of time being with her family. She would enjoy having a family who would play with her and also give her lots of cuddles and love. And we have no doubt that Mittens would also enjoy having a kitty friend or two to play and snuggle with. (Please note that because we are headed into the winter months, Mittens and other kittens under 6 months of age may only be adopted into indoor-only homes at this time.)
Mittens will go to her forever home spayed, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested and up to date on all her vaccinations. This little bundle of happiness is guaranteed to make your heart smile, and she’s waiting for YOU at Green Hills Animal Shelter.
