Pet Of The Week – Sam

We’d like to introduce you to Sam! Sam is a handsome orange and white Tabby who came to Green Hills Animal Shelter in February after being found wandering alone in the cold and snow.

Now, we all know that life on the streets isn’t easy for any kitty, but we can’t imagine how lonely it must have been for Sam.  You see, Sam is an absolute love bug who craves human attention. He is sweet and loving, and absolutely irresistible as he meows to get the attention of staff, volunteers and visitors.  And did we mention that Sam LOVES to be held? It’s true!  Give this sweet boy a cuddle and he will turn into a purring, limp noodle in your arms!

Sam’s loving nature would make him a great family pet and a great special friend to a young girl or boy.  He gets along well with other cats, and Sam doesn’t seem to mind the dogs at the shelter one little bit.

If Sam could describe his purr-fect Forever Home he would undoubtedly ask for an indoor-only home where he could spend all his time loving his family. He would love a home where he would receive lots of attention and pets, and where he could be the center of his family’s world. All this amazing boy really wants is to love and be loved – and that makes him absolutely purr-fect in our book!

Sam will go to his Forever Home neutered, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested, and up to date on all vaccinations, including rabies.  This sweet boy will make your heart grow 3-sizes just by meeting him; wouldn’t you love to get to share your life with him?

For more information on Sam, or any of the pets waiting for their homes at Green Hills Animal Shelter, please phone the shelter at 660-359-2700 or stop by during open business hours.  We’ll be looking forward to meeting you!
