Pet Of The Week – Socks

Please meet Socks! Socks is a young Labrador Retriever mix who we estimate to be only about one year old. Socks was brought to Green Hills Animal Shelter as a stray, so we don’t know much about his life before he came to the shelter, but we do know this; Socks is guaranteed to make you smile!

Socks is a happy, affectionate, and loving pup who, like most Labs, wants to be friends with everyone he meets. He is very sweet and would make a great family dog in a home with children. In addition to being sweet and loving, Socks is also very playful. He is full of energy and LOVES to play and run. He is smart, curious, and funny, and Socks is absolutely full of love to give!

If Socks could describe his perfect Forever Home he would tell us about a home where he could spend all his time with his family. He would love an active family who would play with him and take him on long leashed walks, or maybe even teach him to be their jogging partner. He would love to have a securely fenced yard where he could play to his heart’s content and a big, fluffy dog bed that he could come inside to lay on to snooze away the cold winter nights. Socks gets along with other dogs and would be happy to have a canine sibling or two in his Forever Home, and he would also enjoy a home with children

Socks will go to his Forever Home neutered, de-wormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies.  He is a great dog looking for a great family; could that family be yours?
