St. Joe Man Suffers Minor Injuries In Platte County Accident

A St. Joseph man was left with minor injuries after another vehicle ping ponged off of interstate guard cables and struck his vehicle.

Troop A of the Highway Patrol says 22-year-old Kansas City resident Musa Adbi was driving a 2003 Honda on I-29 In Platte County Tuesday night at 7:48 P.M. when his vehicle went off the roadway and struck the cable barrier.

His vehicle then returned to the roadway where it struck a 2014 Mitsubishi being driven by 71-year-old St. Joseph resident David G. Heise on the drivers side. The collision sent the Heise vehicle off the roadway where it struck a ditch. The Adbi vehicle also went off the roadway and struck the Heise vehicle a second time as it was at rest in the ditch.

Heise was wearing a seat belt at the time but still suffered minor injuries. He was treated at the scene.

No injuries were listed for Adbi.
