Active COVID Cases Drop In Latest Tri-County Health Numbers

The latest set of numbers released from the Tri-County Heath Department in Stanberry suggest lower numbers of active COVID cases in their service area.

According to the numbers released Tuesday October 12 show all three counties have lower active cases than they did one week ago.

In DeKalb County the latest release shows 1525 total cases, which is up seven from last week, but just 24 active cases, down five from one week ago.

Gentry County numbers show a total of 1129 cases, which is actually one fewer case than shown one week ago, and just seven active cases, down from 22 last week.

Worth County’s active numbers also went down, with just three active cases this week compared to five last week. The County’s total case count stayed steady at 291.

There were no new deaths related to COVID since the last report.
