Albany Driver Injured In Ford City Accident

An Albany driver was injured in a one vehicle accident near Ford City Thursday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 53 year old Bendi Burgin was driving a vehicle southbound on Route AA, 2 miles South of Ford City, and went off the side of the roadway due to poor road conditions. The vehicle struck a ditch and overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its top.
The vehicle was totaled. The driver receive moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic Life Care in Albany.
The accident took place just before 4pm Thursday. The Gentry County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Highway Patrol.
