Ashcroft Has Advice For Voters Ahead Of Midterms

Missouri’s Secretary of State says the results of Tuesday’s General Election are safe, secure, accessible, and credible.

Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft explains what voters cannot do while at the polls…

Ashcroft also urges residents to get a sample ballot to educate themselves on the issues they will be voting on.

Missourians are also reminded to have a government issued photo ID handy – your Missouri driver license, Missouri nondriver license, U.S. passport, and/or military ID.

If you don’t have a valid photo ID, you still can vote using a provisional ballot, which is a vote that is cast, but not counted until election officials can determine that the voter is properly registered.

Early voting goes through today and polls open at 6:00 A.M. on Tuesday.
