Bethany Man Arrested for Sex Crimes

BETHANY, MO – A Bethany man is in custody, accused of sex crime said to have taken place in late January.

Authorities arrested 22-year-old Casey Joe Thurman on two counts of sodomy in the first degree, each punishable by 5 years to life in prison

In a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, the Bethany Police Department alleges the incident took place at Thurman’s residence.

Thurman is in custody in the Harrison County Jail on a $150,000 cash only bond. He is scheduled for a bond hearing this (Wednesday) afternoon.
