Bridge Project on Interstate 29 in Holt County to Begin Soon

Traffic will change on Interstate 29 and U.S. Route 59 at Exit 92 in Holt County starting next week.
U.S. Route 59 will close for the duration of the project.
It begins Monday, March 28.
MoDOT contracted with Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. to replace the deck of the I-29 bridges over U.S. Route 59.
Work will continue through early August.
Because U.S. Route 59 will be closed under the interstate from March 28 through the end of the project, motorists will be directed along a signed detour west of I-29 over Route 111 at Craig to Route 118 to I-29 at Mound City.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
