Buggy Driver Ejected in Accident Near Spickard

SPICKARD, MO – The driver of a buggy was taken to the hospital following an accident in Grundy County this (Tuesday) morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident took place around 7:30 am on Route C, 3 miles west of Spickard as 36-year old Menno Hostetler was eastbound in the buggy. A vehicle operated by 29-year old Jinnifer Shuler of Spickard struck the rear of the buggy, ejecting its driver.
Hostetler was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. The buggy was demolished.
