Cameron Man Left With Minor Injuries After Being Sideswiped

A Cameron man was left with minor injuries after his vehicle was sideswiped on I-35 in Clay County Thursday afternoon.
Troop A of the Highway Patrol says 59-year-old Cameron resident Jeffrey D. Lewey was driving a 2021 Toyota Supra southbound on I-35 at mile-marker 20 in Clay County at 2 P.M. Thursday when the side of his vehicle was struck by a 2005 GMC Sierra that was changing lanes.
That collision sent the Lewey vehicle off the left side of the roadway where it struck a guardrail.
Lewey was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident but still suffered minor injuries. He was taken by Liberty EMS to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
