A celebration of a new aerial ladder truck is coming to Maryville.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development will celebrate the purchase of a new aerial ladder truck for the Maryville Fire Department on Wednesday, April 6.
The celebration will be at the Maryville Fire Department, at 101 North Vine Street, starting at 4:30 p.m.
This new truck replaces an older 1981 model.
Maryville Betterment Corporation utilized a 640-thousand dollar USDA Rural Development Community Facilities Direct Loan and a 660-thousand dollar Community Facilities Disaster Grant to purchase the vehicle.
