Chillicothe Man Injured in Livingston County Crash Early Wednesday

A Chillicothe man suffered injuries in a Livingston County crash Wednesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 5:45 Wednesday morning on County Road 235, a mile north of Chillicothe, as 19-year-old Markus A. Cunningham drove southbound.

Troopers say Cunningham was driving at a high rate of speed for road conditions, began to skid, lost control, went off the west side of the roadway, struck an embankment, overturned, and came to a rest.

Cunningham suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Hedrick Medical Center.

Authorities say Cunningham did not wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
