Chillicothe Woman Injured in Linn County UTV Crash Saturday

A Chillicothe woman suffered injuries in a Linn County UTV accident Saturday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 5:35 Saturday night on Dover Drive, four miles northwest of Linneus, as 39-year-old Chillicothe resident Derick D. McIntyre drove a Polaris Razor southbound.

Troopers say McIntyre traveled off the right side of the road, began to overturn, and struck a tree.

A passenger, 41-year-old Shelly M. Epperson, suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Hedrick Medical Center.

Authorities say all involved wore safety gear at the time of the crash.
