Dearborn Man Left With Injuries and Arrested After Accident

A Dearborn man was left with minor injuries and less than minor legal woes after a one-vehicle accident late Tuesday night in Platte County.

According to the Highway Patrol accident report, 28-year-old Dearborn resident Tylar L. Dalton was driving a 2018 Chevy on Interstate 29 at the seven mile marker in Platte County at 11:45 P.M. Tuesday when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a guardrail and traveled down an embankment.

The Highway Patrol says Dalton was not wearing a seat belt at the time and he suffered minor injuries. Dalton reportedly refused treatment at the scene.

Troopers report the arrest of Dalton on charges of driving while intoxicated and failing to maintain a single lane involving a crash. He was booked into the Platte County Jail and released.
