Disabled License Plates Bill Heard In Missouri Senate Veterans Committee

(MISSOURINET) – Proof of disability to renew Missouri license plates or a windshield placard could be tossed out. A Senate Veterans and Military Affairs committee is reviewing a bill that would no longer require a doctor’s statement to renew those items. State Senator Justin Brown, a Republican from Rolla, says his bill is self-explanatory.

The Missouri Department of Revenue says the proposed change would make the process more efficient. During a committee hearing, no one opposed the bill.
