Evergy Missouri West is seeking an adjustment on customer bills.
The Missouri Public Service Commission says Evergy Missouri West has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to adjust the demand side investment mechanism, or DSIM, charge on customer bills.
According to the application, a residential customer using one-thousand kilowatt-hours of electricity a month will see their DSIM charge drop by about $1.46 a month.
This would take effect February 2020.
Applications to intervene and participate in the case must be filed no later than December 13 with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission.
Individual citizens wishing to comment should contact the Office of The Public Counsel or the Public Service Commission Staff.
Evergy Missouri West serves over 334-thousand customers in the state.
