Excelsior Springs Man Injured in Clay County Motorcycle Crash Thursday

An Excelsior Springs man suffered injuries in a Clay County crash Thursday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 7:35 Thursday morning on I-35 as 47-year-old Tommy W. Brewer drove a Harley Davidson southbound.
Troopers say Brewer struck the rear passenger side of another southbound vehicle already involved in another crash.
Brewer suffered serious injuries and sought treatment at Truman Medical Center.
Authorities say it is unknown if Brewer wore a safety helmet at the time of the crash.
