Felony Warrant Gets Excelsior Springs Man Arrested

An Excelsior Springs man was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Clay COunty on a felony level warrant out of Clinton COunty.

Troop A of the Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 40-year-old Excelsior Springs resident Justin A. Morris at 2:15 Wednesday afternoon on a Clinton County felony arrest warrant. Online court records list that warrant as being for a Class D felony of stealing of $750 or more from December 2022.

Morris was booked into the Clay County Jail to await a $5,000 cash only bond.

Future court dates for Morris have yet to be announced.
