Former Doniphan County, KS Deputy Arrested on Child Sex Crime Charges

 

A former Doniphan County, Kansas Sheriff’s deputy was arrested Thursday at a home in Troy, Kansas after agents with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation served a search warrant.

According to a KBI release, 33-year-old Nathaniel M. Keller was arrested at about 5:30 A.M. Thursday when officers raided a home at 330 west Poplar in Troy, Kansas. Keller was arrested on charges of rape, aggravated criminal sodomy, sexual exploitation of a child, and aggravated indecent liberties of a child, for crimes suspected to have occurred in 2017.

He was also arrested for aggravated domestic battery, criminal threat, and criminal damage to property for incidents alleged to have occurred in 2019 and 2021.

According to the release the Doniphan County Sheriff’s Office cooperated fully in the KBI’s investigation.

Keller was booked into the Doniphan County Jail.
