Gilman City Woman Injured in Saturday Evening Accident

GILMAN CITY, MO – A Gilman City woman received minor injuries in an accident in Gilman City Saturday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred around 7:45 pm on Fisher Street as 74-year-old Gilman City resident Ronald Ward was northbound and an unoccupied vehicle was parked on the west edge of the street. Ward crossed the center of Fisher Street and struck the rear of the second vehicle.
An occupant in Ward’s vehicle, 73-year-old Christine Ward was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital with minor injuries. Neither she nor the driver were wearing a seatbelt. Ward’s vehicle was totaled.
