Graham Man Hurt In Springfield Area Accident With Garbage Truck

A man from Graham was left with serious injuries after a rear-ending accident involving a garbage truck Monday afternoon near Springfield.
According to the accident report from Troop D of the Highway Patrol, 53-year-old Graham resident Eric E. Nelson was driving a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder on Missouri Route 13 about six miles north of Springfield Monday at 1 P.M. when his vehicle was struck from behind by a 2010 Peterbilt garbage truck.
Nelson was reportedly not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and suffered serious injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment
