Graves to Run Again for 6th District Seat in General Election

(MISSOURINET) – Incumbent Republican Congressman Sam Graves handily won his party’s approval for Missouri’s 6th District. He beat four GOP challengers with 76 percent of the vote.

Graves says he did not take this race for granted:

He will run against Democrat Henry Martin in November. The district showed a more than 3 to 1 Republican-to Democrat turnout.

Graves is the senior House member in the Missouri delegation, and that his tenure is based on being back in the state often:

The 6th District covers northern Missouri.
