Hamilton Man Injured in Monday Crash North of Cameron

Troopers report a Hamilton man suffered injuries in a Monday afternoon crash in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on I-35, three miles north of Cameron, as a dump truck driven by 61-year-old Jerry G. Cook drove southbound.
Authorities say a southbound van driven by 23-year-old Shawnee, Kansas resident Kyle B. Carnes struck the towed unit of Cook’s vehicle.
Cook suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Authorities reported no injury information for Carnes.
Everyone involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
