Independence Man Arrested on Driving Trio Saturday in Holt County

An Independence man was arrested on a trio of driving charges Saturday in Holt County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 34-year-old Daniel W. Meyer faces preliminary charges of driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender, failure to have two lighted headlamps, and operating a motor vehicle without financial responsibility.

Meyer was taken to the Holt County Sheriff’s Office and booked on a 24 hour hold.
