Iowa Driver Left With Serious Injuries Following Early Morning Crash Near Craig

ATCHISON COUNTY, MO – An Iowa man was hospitalized following an accident early this morning near Craig.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Owen Hobart of Hamburg, Iowa was traveling south on US 59, 4 miles north of Craig when his vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and struck an embankment. The vehicle came to rest upright facing west.
Hobart was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries. He was wearing a seat belt. The vehicle was totaled in the accident.
