Kansas City Hospitals Step Up to Help Victims of Super Bowl Parade Shooting

Kansas City hospitals have been answering the call to care for people who were hurt in Wednesday’s Super Bowl parade.

A disagreement that escalated to gunfire ended up killing a 43-year-old woman and injuring 23 others.

Charlie Shields, president and CEO of University Health in Kansas City, says the mass shooting has been traumatic for the city and for his workers…

Of University Health’s eight victims, three remain in the hospital.

Children’s Mercy Hospital says three of 12 victims it is caring for are still in the hospital.
