King City Board Reorganizes, Makes Coaching Decisions
King City’s School board members renewed the school’s health insurance with their same provider during their reorganizational meeting Monday night.
King City’s board certified the election results. Hayden Hager was sworn in for the remaining time of a unexpired term. Eric Eaton and Josh Veale were sworn in for 3 year terms. During reorganization, Chuck Spiking was elected president. Josh Wall will be vice president.
Superintendent Danny Johnson reviewed the preliminary estimates for the budget for the upcoming year. King City’s estimated include a budget for roughly $5.5 million for revenue and expenditures.
Board members approved contributions for students and a sponsor to attend the the FCCLA National event this summer.
Todd Shiflett and Micah Breckenridge were approved for summer work.
Go Math was approved as math curriculum for another 5 years.
King City’s Board approved Chris McMillen as Varsity Boys Basketball Coach, Lily Osborn as Assistant Coach, Natalie Atkins as Head Varsity Softball Coach, and Ashley Bogart as Junior High Softball Coach at the session.
