Lathrop Man Strikes Tree in Clinton County Crash Tuesday

A Lathrop man suffered injuries in a Clinton County crash Tuesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 4:35 Tuesday afternoon on Southeast Cannonball Road, four miles south of Lathrop, as 44-year-old Kam A. Montgomery drove northbound.
Troopers say Montgomery was traveling too fast for road conditions, went off the east side of the road, struck a tree, and came to a rest.
Montgomery suffered serious injuries and sought treatment at Liberty Hospital.
Authorities say Montgomery did wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
