Lathrop Teen Injured in Clinton County Crash Late Monday

A Lathrop teen suffered injuries in a Clinton County crash Monday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred on State Route PP, three miles east of Holt, as a 16-year-old male from Lathrop drove westbound.
Troopers say the teen was distracted by an audio device, went off the right side of the road, struck several trees, and came to a rest.
The teen suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Liberty Hospital.
Authorities say the teen did wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
