Maryville Selected For Tourism Grants

The City of Maryville has received two awards announced by the Missouri Department of Economic Development through the Local Tourism Asset Development Grant Program.

The program is intended to support projects to aid in the further recovery of tourism, travel, and hospitality industries. The program awarded competitive grants for applicants, tied to tourism, which were affected by the pandemic.

There were a total of 26 projects awarded with grants in the announcement. The total grant amount was $30 million.

Maryville received a grant for just over $366,000 for pavilion development. The other grant was for nearly $286,000. It will be used for campground expansion.
