Missouri Days Festival Parade Has Bicentennial Theme
This year’s 2021 Missouri Days Festival Parade will be held on Saturday, October 16th in Trenton and has the theme “Commemorating 200 Years of Missouri History-Past. Present. Future”.
This year’s parade will begin at 8:30 on Saturday morning, October 16th. The parade will have the same route as past parades with entries lining up at the corner of Main and Crowder Road in northwest Trenton. The parade will travel east down 9th Street. Bands will exit at Normal Street. The rest of the parade will continue east. The High school bands will be departing from the parade route for the Missouri Days Marching Festival competitions.
There will be cash prizes awarded in several categories. All organizations, businesses, and individuals are encouraged to enter and use the theme of the parade. There will be an on-line option for registration available soon.
The Missouri Days Parade is now is its 36th year. It is sponsored by the Trenton Rotary Club.
