Missouri State Fair Names First Saturday Night Grandstand Entertainers

Two pop rock bands from the turn of the century will headline the Missouri State Fair Grandstand presented by CFM Insurance on August 10th. Fair officials announced this Wednesday morning that the Goo Goo Dolls will perform at this year’s fair, along with opening act The Fray.

Their most recent album Chaos in Bloom was released in 2022, and the group began their current tour in February of last year.

Opening act The Fray hails from Denver, with their debut album in 2005 resulting in two hit singles, the title track “How To Save A Life” and also “Over My Head”. Their self-titled album won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2010. The group last released a new album in 2014, titled Helios.
