MO House Passes Resolution Regarding Ballot Initiatives

The Missouri House of Representatives adopted a resolution Wednesday that would increase the threshold of votes from Missouri citizens to approve a ballot initiative.

The bill, House Joint Resolution 43, sponsored by Republican Representative Mike Henderson of St. Francois County would increase the required percentage of votes to 60% from the current 50%.
