Motorcycle Operator Injured In St Joseph Accident

A St Joseph motorcycle operator was injured follow an accident in Buchanan County Sunday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 41 year old Walter Stagner was driving westbound on the ramp from northbound I-229, just east of St Joesph, and failed to make a curve. The motorcycle went off the north side of the roadway and then struck a guardrail. The motorcycle overturned on its side and ejected the driver.

The driver received moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic in St Joseph.

The accident took place at 8:20 Sunday evening.
