Osborn Woman Injured & Charged in Monday Crash in DeKalb County

An Osborn woman suffered injuries and faces charges in a Monday evening crash in DeKalb County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 5:15 Monday night on Highway 36, about three miles east of Stewartsville, as 36-year-old Rikki L. Allman slowed westbound to make a left turn.

Troopers say another westbound vehicle driven by 39-year-old Stewartsville resident James W. Farr rear-ended Allman’s Dodge Durango.

Farr’s vehicle rested on the south edge of the road and caught fire.

Allman’s vehicle came to a rest in the median.

Allman suffered serious injuries.

Authorities say everyone involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.

Following the accident, troopers arrested Allman on a preliminary charge of driving while intoxicated.
