Parson Says MO Needs to Boost Efforts to Recruit more Healthcare Workers into the Field

Given the recent spike in demand, Governor Mike Parson says Missouri needs to do a better job of getting more healthcare workers into the profession. He made the comment during a stop Thursday in Southwest Missouri’s Joplin. He was there to celebrate the opening of a new state-of-the-art Casey’s General Store distribution center and the expansion of the Kansas City University Medical School.

The 62-million dollar Casey’s project is expected to bring 125 jobs to Joplin.
