Pattonsburg Alum Highlighted by U.S. Army as Part of Women’s History Month

Sgt. Rachel Tozier, marksmanship instructor and competitive shooter with the U.S. Army and a native of Pattonsburg was recently highlighted as a part of Women’s History Month by the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit.

Sgt. Tozier shot American Trap for 10 years before joining the U.S. Army in 2017.  She was assigned to the Home of Champions where she would begin training in Olympic Trap.  Tozier was a Team USA alternate for the 2021 Olympic Trap Team.

The Pattonsburg High School alumni also earned a spot on the USA Shooting National Team this year.  This week she will be competing in the International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup in Nicosia, Cyprus.
