Pickup Totaled In Buchanan County Accident

A pickup was totaled and two occupants were taken to the hospital with minor injuries following an accident late Thursday evening in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 20 year old Joseph Ford of St Joseph was traveling northbound on I-229 and began sliding on wet pavement. His pickup went off the side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, and eventually overturned.
The driver and 19 year old Samantha Ownby of Savannah both received minor injuries from the accident and were taken for medical treatment by a private vehicle.
The accident took place at 9:30 Thursday evening.
