Plattsburg Man Seriously Injured in Clinton County Crash

A Plattsburg man was seriously injured in a Clinton County crash Wednesday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Highway 116, and U.S. 69, six miles east of Lathrop, when a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Alan L. Burton was stopped at a stop sign.
Troopers say Burton failed to yield to an eastbound vehicle on 116, stopped in the intersection, and the two vehicles collided.
Burton was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
No injury information was listed for the eastbound driver.
Troopers say all involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
