Polo Dump Truck Operator Injuries In Accident Caused By Tire Blowout

A Polo dump truck operator was taken to the hospital following an accident on Highway 13 just after noon Monday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 45 year old Jeramie Glazier was driving southbound on Highway 13, 1 mile north of Polo, and lost control of the truck when a tire blew out. The truck crossed the center of the roadway, went off the west side of the road, and struck a utility pole.
The dump truck was totaled in the accident. The driver received moderate injuries and was taken to Liberty Hospital.
The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Highway Patrol.
