Rural Route Resurfacing Resuming in Northwest Missouri

A resurfacing project will begin next week for six routes across Gentry, Harrison, Nodaway, and Worth counties.

Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will begin work on Monday.

From March 6-13, crews will work on Harrison County Route EE from Route M to U.S. Route 136 in New Hampton.

From March 14-22, crews will work on Gentry/Harrison County Route ZZ from Gentry Route T (Gentry County) in McFall to U.S. Route 136 (Harrison County) in New Hampton.

From March 23-April 3, crews will work on Gentry/Worth County Route N from U.S. Route 136 (Gentry County) to Route M (Worth County).

From April 4-5, crews will work on Nodaway County Route D from Route KK to U.S. Route 71.

From April 6-17, crews will work on Nodaway/Atchison County Route C from Route M (Atchison County) to U.S. Route 71 (Nodaway County).

Finally, from April 18-26, crews will work on Nodaway County KK from Route D to U.S. Route 136.

Each route will be closed daily in segments up to two miles in length during the scheduled work.

Travelers will need to seek an alternative route during the intermittent closures.

All six routes should finish by May.

Work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
